How To Use

Reviving the Forgotten Flavor

In this beautiful book, herbalists Guido Masé and Jovial King show you how to make everything from classic bitters such as Angostura and Chamomile, to more innovative flavors such as Rose Bitter, Pastilles and Vermont Maple bitters. They even offer a guide for creating your own unique flavors from the plants and ingredients you have on hand or grow in your garden.

Whether enjoyed as an aperitif, digestive, or as a remedy to settle an upset stomach, bitters are back!

“A visually stunning and brilliantly written book that bridges science and folklore, DIY Bitters weaves common sense and facts into a fascinating compendium of practical, usable information.” -ROSEMARY GLADSTAR, herbalist and author

I have since ordered the 8oz size, with future plans of making my own DIY bitters! Much better and in my opinion more effective than ACV

Citrus bitters

Love them, great flavor, help with digestion. Just what I wanted

Delightful for beginner

Well organized and instructive. Easy to follow, too! P.S. So generous of Urban Moonshine to share their recipes and their basic steps to enjoying home made bitters 😎🥂

Happy to have received my copy of this book. Except for the typeset / font chosen (not ideal in dim light or for the visually impaired), the content is amazing. I've put a few of the recipes to the test. This treasure will certainly compliment my herbal library.
